5 aspects to consider before taking your body measurements:

There are some basic aspects you should consider to take your measurements correctly:

1. You need a suitable tape measure. It can be a flexible plastic one or a cloth one.

2. When you want to measure yourself, your posture should be as upright as possible. If you are doing it alone, we recommend doing it in front of a mirror.

3. Do not wear overly loose clothing to take your body measurements. You can measure yourself in underwear or very tight clothing.

4. When taking your measurements, do not pull the tape too tight against your body. This will give you a smaller measurement, but it will not be the actual one.

5. Write down all measurements as you take them and repeat the process at least twice.

To find out your size, the most common way to take a woman's body measurements is to consider three areas: bust, waist, and hips. In this video, you can see where to place the tape measure to do it correctly.

How to take body measurements to find your size?

How to measure your bust?

To take this measurement, you should wrap the tape measure around your bust. You need to use the widest part of your bust as a reference. This widest area is usually at nipple height.

How to measure your waist?

To measure your waist, you need to wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso. This is usually about 4 cm from your navel. Remember not to pull the tape measure too tight against your body.

How to measure your hip?

The hip is usually the widest measurement on a woman's body. To measure this area, you should wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your hip.

By following these simple steps, you can take your body measurements to choose the correct size. Taking your measurements will not take more than 2 minutes. It might be difficult to measure yourself; if so, ask for help. If you have any questions about which size to use for any of our models, do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.
