5 aspects to consider before taking your body measurements:

There are some basic aspects you should take into account to take your measurements correctly:

1. You need a suitable tape measure. It can be a flexible plastic one or a fabric one.

2. When you want to measure yourself, your posture should be as upright as possible. If you are going to do it by yourself, we recommend doing it in front of a mirror.

3. Don't wear overly loose clothing when taking your body measurements. You can measure yourself in underwear or in very tight clothing.

4. When you take your measurements, don't pull the tape measure too tight against your body. This will give you a smaller measurement, but it won't be the real one.

5. Write down all measurements as you take them and repeat the process at least twice.

To find out your size, the most common way to take a woman's body measurements is to consider three areas: bust, waist, and hips. In this video, you can see where to place the tape measure to do it correctly.

How to take body measurements to find your size?

How to measure your chest?

To take this measurement, you need to wrap the tape measure around your chest. You should use the widest part of your chest as a reference. This widest area is usually at nipple height.

How to measure your waist?

To measure your waist, you need to wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso. This is usually about 4 cm from your navel. Remember not to press the tape measure tightly against your body.

How to measure your hips?

The hip measurement is usually the widest part of a woman's body. To measure this area, you should wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your hips.

By following these simple steps, you can take your body measurements to choose the correct size. Taking your measurements will not take more than 2 minutes. You may find it difficult to measure yourself; if so, ask for help. If you have any questions about which size to use for any of our models, do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.
